We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

They provided us with all the information to explore the island, including the tours. We had a great time in Kona Koa!!! Fantástico!!!

Everything you need is there! The area is so peaceful and quiet! Having a morning coffee at the patio with birds singing in the background was something else. Totally recommend having a slow morning so you can enjoy the sunshine. Staff is LOVELY! They pick you up and drop you off at the airport so you don’t need to worry about it. I even got a necklace as a gift at the checkout which was such a pleasant surprise!

Bed linen and bathroom towels etc were lovely quality. Having an outdoor verandah area was great - the garden will be lovely as it grows. Property is a very short walk from the airport - you won’t need a taxi. It is a nice 15 minute walk through the local residential streets to the restaurants and shops down town and on the waterfront.
