It was so amazing to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of frogs, birds etc... They were very attentive to my honeymoon request. The whole hotel is sustainable, the hot water from the shower is provided by solar panels. The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. According to the occupancy it might be necessary to book a table in advance, especially at diner time. They helped us booking full day hikes as well and gave us breakfast to take with us. They provided us flashlights for us to go back to our room in case it's already dark. We used the laundry service as well the day before our check-out and it was ready on time for us to leave.

Had an awesome visit! There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

We really loved our stay at cecropia ecolodge. The owners were so nice and gave us useful recommendation that only locals know about trips in this area. We really liked the sustainability of this property and that you stay so close to nature there. They really take care of the plants and the animals and also the night walk was fascinating. This property was our favourite stay at our costa rica trip and if we come again we would definitly stay there again.

Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.
