Staff was really helpful , the night tour was really interesting .

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal... I wanted accommodation were we could see plenty of wildlife and be surrounded by nature. Arenal Observatory Lodge exceeded out expectations. We saw beautiful birds everywhere along with other wildlife. We considered the drive back to La Fortuna to be relatively easy, so did not mind that it was a little bit out of the way. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating and friendly staff. Highly recommend that horse trek here as well.

This is an exceptional stay and is clearly a labor of love! The owner, Evi, was thoughtful, attentive, and went out of her way to make our stay extra special. She is a great communicator and answered any questions we had about the area and activities to do. Highly recommend!

Quiet , peaceful, super friendly staff. Very comfortable beds , great breakfast and they accommodated my need for GF as I am Coeliac. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the rooms were huge. Amazing wildlife, we saw toucans , iguanas and heard the howler monkeys.

The benches outside are so cute and perfect to sit down and watch all the beautiful birds that come by. It was one of our favourite stays of the trip?

Boasting an outdoor pool and a hot tub, La Finca Lodge is located in Fortuna, 35 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. Complimentary WiFi is available. The property was everything we could have hoped for and more. This space is so much more than you would expect from the incredible rooms, to the animals on the property, the trails, the staff, the food, the pool space - everything is impeccable! The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better introduction to Costa Rica. We cant wait to tell all of our friends about this gem and hopefully we will be back soon!
