The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Lieke and Michael have a beautiful little lodge, with plenty of flora and fauna (we spent alot of time bird watching from our covered porch). The pool is even nicer than pictures and the temperature was perfect for cooling off. Food was excellent, and their included breakfasts were the best we had in CR (fruit and yogurt, great coffee, juice, tipico or pancake desayuno). We had our little girl there and she had a blast. With all the trees it felt very private, would go back in a heartbeat. The area is very quiet, which we loved, and tons of beaches.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. I LOVE the attention of Agi and Guido, they went above and beyond my expectations! I am truly happy of having chosen Cabañas Cañas Castilla as our getaway place to recharge and end the year! Everything they prepared was so delicious. Agi even fixed my wife a really nice chicken soup as she was sick and it was not just a plate, but an entire pot of it! That she even ate it for three days! I had dinner one night and it felt like just eating at home, so good, clean and tasty! We will definitely come back soon. The location is excellent as it's just 10 minutes away from the town of La Cruz, so you are away from the busy town but close enough to get anything you need. Definitely a hidden gem to come back to whenever possible! 👌❤️

The owners are very nice and make sure you have everything you need. The food in the evening and the breakfast were both very good. The lodges themselves are stunning and very clean with an amazing view. I would recommend this place to everyone, its amazing. Wish I stayed longer. Note: if you go by car, don’t trust google maps, it will guide you offroad. Its nice but you need both an adventurous mindset and an 4x4, don’t try it without both of them or you might run into trouble (e.g. get stuck). There is a proper road towards the lodges which is fine, look at the instructions the owners send you or ask them.

The architecture is done very well with the overall idea creating a relaxing and calm space while keeping it luxurious and classy. Besides the amazing property and great view & delicious home made breakfast, the hosts are the true soul of this accomandation. We were greeted and treated like friends and received nothing but honest kindness. Thank you again for this wonderful time 😃. Pura Vida! We hope to come back some time….

Very relaxing Great pool, jacuzzi and bbq area. Only 3 lodges on site. You may be lucky and have pool/jacuzzi all to yourselves like we did. Valerie was a lovely host.
