We LOVED the location!!! Also we really liked the option of cooking our own food snd having access for storage in the fridge and pantry. The on-site guides Ingo and Connie added so much to our stay with their amazing energy and joie de vivre! they are both amazing people! We went on a Mangrove kayak with Ingo that was outstanding.

What an incredible, laid back and relaxing place to spend your days on this side of Costa Rica. Lieke and Michael have managed to create a jungle-like oasis where I felt completely immersed in the natural environment on Guanacaste. Hearing the birds, monkeys and the ocean whilst lounging by the pool with a great restaurant and bar to the side made for the most relaxing getaway. The breakfast is superb and the staff is extremely friendly and diligent. Lieke and Michael were also extremely helpful in answering any questions and stopping by for a casual chat (given that solo travel can get lonely!). The atmosphere at Mundo Milo is so laid back that I didn’t once feel out of place sitting on my own, having a drink or reading my book!

Peaceful location, lovely owners and delicious food. The cabins were serene and comfortable. Loved the hammocks. The trail walks were beautiful. We loved seeing the spider monkeys every day and the resident sloth comfortably tucked away (high in a tree). We would visit again in a second. One of my favourite travel experiences. Gorgeous beaches were a short drive away.

This tiny house was just amazing. Very well equipped and lovely decorated. Great mountain view and even a built-in stargazing net where you can enjoy the sunset and the night sky. We absolutely loved this stay!

You'll be transported to a supremely relaxing and decadent beach jungle. We stayed in the room with its own infinity pool - WORTH IT! Breakfasts are divine, the views are off the charts, all the finishings are gorgeous and thoughtful. We kept noticing cool touches and said nothing is overlooked or unplanned at Canta La Rana. They've seriously thought of everything ! You'll marvel at the location and wonder how in the world did they build such an amazing retreat on this high ridge. But it's perfect! And very, very close to the beach (although you'll want to drive, and have a 4x4 - no joke)!

Spacious lodge with everything we needed. Hammock and lovely terrace overlooking trees. Lots of birds. Very relaxing Great pool, jacuzzi and bbq area. Only 3 lodges on site. You may be lucky and have pool/jacuzzi all to yourselves like we did. Valerie was a lovely host.

A surf oasis a few meters away from Guiones! The rooms are spacious and well equipped and it's nice to have a pool too. Dave the owner was very easy to reach and helpful during the stay.
