Juan Santamaría International Airport is 88 km from the property. We loved our stay in this remote haven in the middle of the rain forest, surrounded by amazing hiking trails. It is rustic, but comfortable, and we enjoyed the chance to get to know the other guests. Our guided walks were outstanding and we saw an amazing array of frogs, birds and insects . It may not be for those who seek luxury, but it is definitely for those who seek authenticity. We’ll be back.

Tirimbina Rainforest Lodge offers free breakfast and a buffet at its restaurant. This is an amazing place. We booked last minute so missed out on the evening Bat Tour. If you go be sure to book this in advance. Otherwise you don't need a tour. The place is amazing with all of the wildlife - actually not on the trails but close to the rooms. The trails are lots of fun and the hanging bridges espescially.

This lodge offers free private parking, room service and free WiFi. What a beautiful spot ! The river along the cabin, the pond with the animals and the waterfall nearby are so charming. I wish I would have stay more than a night because I would have like to enjoy more all the facilities around and the beautiful surroundings.
