The bungalows and rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was phenomenal. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. This Italian owned hotel truly reflects its high standards in both the quality of its food and the honesty and warmth of its staff. For the first time in Costa Rica, we felt treated as valued guests rather than just sources of revenue.

Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

We travlelled for our anniversary trip, part of the trip we started at this resort and it blew our mind. The Long Dream House was spectacular and staffs were very nice. Masai and Oner was always in our reach with any help. The whole resort was very nicely decorated and what amazed us most is the use of resources. The walk from our Long Dream House was not 8 minutes what they told me, it was over 20 minutes, but honestly they made the whole 20 minutes walk so enjoyable with fantastic decoration. Reusung toys for kids was a great option. And the most of all we went there from NYC, living in a real forest was like a life time experience. Highly recommend!

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Wonderful and attentive hosts. A hidden garden like a paradise. Beautiful pool. 10m to the beach.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. Owers ale very nice people, bery helpful, answering all the questions and giving some tips what to visit and how to do it. The place it self is magnificent!

Finca Chica offers accommodation in Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. The owner and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They provided a jungle tour pointing out sloths, snakes, spiders, etc…. Plus, provided information on where to eat, what to do, what to see, etc..

Offering a restaurant, Almonds & Corals Boutique Hotel is located within the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge and in front of Manzanillo beach. Free WiFi access is available on common areas. Absolutely, the most beautiful place we have stayed so far on this trip. Highly recommend staying here. Great experience, great knowledgeable staff.
