Great pool, quiet garden, lots of animals. Marise very responsive and offered helpful advice. We’re returning!

The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

The bungalows are very private and have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a porch with a hammock. The pool is a great place to cool off after a day of exploring, and the breakfast is delicious and includes fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, and coffee. The owners of La Rana de Cahuita are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with various tropical plants and animals. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Cahuita National Park.

A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. I wish I could extend my stay in Cahujita and enjoy this little paradise. I had my blur house in the middle of the jungle, where you can connect with the nature and wildlife but at the same time being so close to the Playa Negra (7-8 min) and to the main street (5 min) where you can find all the restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very spacious, clean, with the nice terrace and hammock and kind and very helpful staff. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to come back again! Thank you!

Situated a few steps from Negra, Hotel Kenaki Lodge features accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owners were very generous - they even allowed us to wash clothing in their washing machine. Alberto is a great guy and makes an amazing breakfast as well. The place is amazing and located at walking distance from an idyllic beach. Best place in Cahuita.
