Jaguar Rescue Center is 26 km from the lodge, while Moin Port is 48 km from the property. Limon International Airport is 33 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Our host, he was great and friendly and showed us around the garden and helped us spot a couple snakes, sloth and other creatures. The garden was stunning. He also cooked us up a yummy breakfast. For me the area was great with a car, it's an hour walk from the town along the beach. A bit out the way without a car.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach.

All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. A refrigerator and coffee machine are also provided. Some units also have a kitchenette, equipped with a microwave, a toaster, and a stovetop. Towels are available. Fantastic place with a beautiful garden, plenty of wildlife! The hosts are super welcoming, taking their time to show you around and help spot the animals (sloths, toucans, lizards etc). The pool is also very nice as well as the beach just across the street - it has shade, more sloths and feels safe for kids. We would have happily spent more time there!

The vegetation also gives each unit privacy. The hosts are delightful, plaeasant, informative and always eager to answer questions and make suggestions to enhance your vacation. The dwellings and property are spotless. Because the property is in the jungle, the sounds of nature are all around. It is easy to get to the national park in Cauhita. We rented bikes as our mode of transportation but the property is best enjoyed with a vehicle. The pool is magnificent, large and surrounded by natural vegetation.

If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the lodge can arrange a bicycle rental service. The owner, Lucas, is the sweetest. Super attentive. The place is beautiful and very quiet, right in front of the beach. We only stayed one night but we wish we had stayed longer!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owners were very generous - they even allowed us to wash clothing in their washing machine. Alberto is a great guy and makes an amazing breakfast as well. The place is amazing and located at walking distance from an idyllic beach. Best place in Cahuita.

This place was great, ample without excess, charming and comfortable, we loved it. Easy access to everything we wanted in the area, good road, good parking, private but not remote. The boys parked themselves in the hammocks on the porch almost immediately. Spent most of the time on the porch, I don't know how I would improve upon it.
