Rainbow Valley Lodge is located located in Monteverde Costa Rica, in the mountains of Monteverde. It offers lush gardens and rooms with free WiFi and fantastic mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge and would highly recommend it. The room was spacious and featured a well-equipped kitchen, plus breathtaking mountain views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it hard to leave. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

From the moment we arrived, our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail in the glamping setup was exceptional—everything was beautifully arranged, clean, and cozy, creating the perfect balance between luxury and nature. One of the highlights was the fantastic dinner—delicious, well-prepared. It truly brought the whole experience together. Whether it was the comfortable accommodations, the peaceful surroundings, or the thoughtful hospitality, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway with an outstanding host who takes care of every little detail, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

Cách Bãi biển Carmen 7 phút đi bộ, Little Escape có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, điều hòa, sân hiên và Wi-Fi miễn phí. The location was good near of the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is in middle of a forest and is really quiet and is easy to see birds and monkeys. The pool is really nice and the beach is near walking. The house was clean and have all we need to enjoy the week we spend there.

Everything worked well, was very clean, a lot od space, super shower, everything in the kitchen for cooking, huge refrigirator. You sleep in the jungle, we saw some animals. The owner from Netherland was super nice.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

Finca Terra Viva was marvelous! The property was spectacular, nestled in a valley and spanning up the hills on either side. It’s close enough to town that we were comfortable driving back and forth after dark, and far enough away that we didn’t have any of the light or noise (what little of it Santa Elena generates). Gaudy was warm and welcoming, offered excellent t recommendations, and is so committed to sustainable practices. It was just gorgeous - stunning and serene. We walked the trails, followed the birds, and fed 2-day-old calves! It is a working farm, and we woke with the sun (and cows and roosters) each day, but loved it. Some of the transport for local attractions will pick you up there, and others will ask you to meet them at a nearby intersection. Between the views, the air, the location, and the comfort of the casitas, we hated to leave.

El Sol enjoys magnificent views of the hills down to the plain being situated a couple of miles out of town where it is definitely warmer, sunnier and less wet. There are interesting gardens (plenty of birds) and a super pool area where you can swim, relax and watch the sunset in the evening. There are six different cabins, we stayed in three, all laid out with anything you might need with sunny views, one with a jacuzzi perched over the valley. The breakfast is superb and supper is available being tasty and convenient after a long day of sightseeing, alternatively there are plenty of suggestions to eat out. . Nothing is too much for Javier and Sian and their happy team. We liked El Sol so much that on our last night in Costa Rica we checked out of another hotel and came back to El Sol instead!
