Absolute friendly staff (they kept the restaurant open longer for us due to our delayed arrival), the view from the ranch was gorgeos, the ranch itself is upheld perfectly, the rooms are clean and nice. We had a great time at the lodge during a two-night stay. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.

Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. The lodge is set in an amazingly beautiful location at the foot of Mt. Chimborazo. The herd of llamas, alpaca and spunky vicuna are fun to watch. It was special to meet Marco and his family and learn about his life. He is a legend.

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. Everything, the place, the rooms, the staff, wish I could stay much longer!
