Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. The lodge is set in an amazingly beautiful location at the foot of Mt. Chimborazo. The herd of llamas, alpaca and spunky vicuna are fun to watch. It was special to meet Marco and his family and learn about his life. He is a legend.

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. Wow this place was special! Staff were lovely and very efficient at arranging my stay. The location is very peaceful (you really are in the middle of nature) and the lodge and rooms are very beautifully decorated. The log burner in the rooms was very cosy and appreciated as it gets very cold. The ponchos too were a nice touch and were very handy when being outside. I also enjoyed two tours - the Cotopaxi park one as well as horse riding and staff help arranged transfers for me from Quito and then onto Baños. A special thanks to Jesica and Eugenia!

Great location, view over Cotopaxi and other volcanoes was fabulous. Lots of birds in the grounds. Fantastic room with a lovely wood fire to keep you cosy. Restaurant food was good. If driving yourself allow a lot more time to get there - we nearly did not make it before park shut due to bad roads, cows and an accident (not us) slowing things dow.

Runa Wasi Quilotoa offers accommodation in Quilotoa. Latacunga is 72 km away. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Very clean, good cheap dinner, good breakfast, very nice lady making sure we're welcomed, room had an electric heater for extra heat and a small stove we did not have to use.
