Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!

Great stay in Edale – perfect location and very relaxing We spent the bank holiday weekend in Edale and really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from the station, which made getting there super easy. After long days of hiking, it was such a bonus having the pub right next door for a well-earned drink and meal. The property itself is quiet and peaceful—we slept so well, easily getting 9 hours a night! It has everything you need in terms of amenities and made for a really comfortable stay. Would definitely come back.

Rooms at the Bagshaw Lodge are decorated in warm coloured fabrics and walnut furnishings. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and power shower, and most have baths. This place was fabulously clean and cozy. And quiet. We loved it. The view from our window, overlooking the town of Blackwell, was stunning. You will love this place if you can find it... it took us a couple tries. It's up the hill from a beautiful old church onto on a small street you may miss the first time. When you reserve the place you might ask them to e or text you a little map of where to turn at the end. If you're traveling by cab or hired car, I'm sure they won't have any problem. Don't let this put you off... Bagshaw Lodge is great!
