It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!

The Old Nag's Head is set in Edale, at the start of the Pennine Way, in the beautiful Peak District. This charming 16th-century property features its own, well-known pub. Centrally located at start of Pennine Way with easy access to multiple hiking routes minutes from Edale train station. Accommodation was right beside the Nags Head with a great menu. Staff were just amazing - Mrs Doyle especially! Accommodation was always warm as the cold weather came in.

Bagshaw Lodge is located in the picturesque Peak District town of Bakewell. With countryside views, modern rooms have flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi. All rooms feature a kitchenette. This place was fabulously clean and cozy. And quiet. We loved it. The view from our window, overlooking the town of Blackwell, was stunning. You will love this place if you can find it... it took us a couple tries. It's up the hill from a beautiful old church onto on a small street you may miss the first time. When you reserve the place you might ask them to e or text you a little map of where to turn at the end. If you're traveling by cab or hired car, I'm sure they won't have any problem. Don't let this put you off... Bagshaw Lodge is great!

Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath offers accommodation in Matlock Bath. Gulliver's Kingdom is 400 metres away. Free WiFi is offered . The accommodation is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Kids loved the beds :) the girl at the reception was very helpful, we arrived late and still we were welcomed and nothing was a problem . Its great that you can just call any take away in town and it gets,delivered to your door.
