Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

It is in such a beautiful location overlooking the peak district, with the best sunsets! The hosts Jo and Paul are very welcoming and helpful, very quick response times! The Lodge I stayed in was dog friendly, it was so clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. It is a 15 minute drive to Carsington water and there are pubs/shops nearby. It is easy to get to other areas of the peak district. I'd go as far to say it's one of the nicest places I've ever stayed! I'll definitely be returning and friends and family are coming next time!

The Old Nag's Head is set in Edale, at the start of the Pennine Way, in the beautiful Peak District. This charming 16th-century property features its own, well-known pub. Location was super - everything close at hand - the train station was just a short walk down the lane - two pubs and two cafes to choose for food - a well stocked shop over the road if you wanted to cook for yourself - the fabulous walks literally on your doorstep - a beautiful church to walk round and great weather!

Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath offers accommodation in Matlock Bath. Gulliver's Kingdom is 400 metres away. Free WiFi is offered . The accommodation is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Kids loved the beds :) the girl at the reception was very helpful, we arrived late and still we were welcomed and nothing was a problem . Its great that you can just call any take away in town and it gets,delivered to your door.
