The location and the setting were stunning. I love trees and my husband loves the sea so we had the absolute best of both. Being able to sit on our verandah and look through the pretty grounds and see the sea was the absolute best 😍 Also being able to watch the kite surfing was fab. We hadn't realised that the rooms were canvas, wooden lodges until we arrived as some of the pics on Booking.com showed studios as well so this was our mistake, but we were very happy and the feel was very surf and beachy and everything was clean and nicely styled. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the shower was a rainfall shower and had really good water pressure. The staff were so lovely, helpful and chatty and helped with any request. Breakfast was served in the pretty open breakfast area and was fresh and delicious with continental buffett and bacon and eggs on request.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment with my family! 🌿 The flat was absolutely perfect — definitely great value for money. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and felt just like home. The host was wonderful, checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful forest vibes that made it peaceful and relaxing. One big plus was the washing machine — a great extra that made it easy for us to wash our clothes during the trip. If you rent this place, you’ll definitely need a car to get around, but honestly, you need a car in Rhodes anyway. We heard they might upgrade it with a pool in the future, which would make it even more beautiful and fun — can’t wait to see that!

The house in general, well furnished and super clean. The garden is a great plus and it really amazed us. We picked fresh oranges every morning from the tree and our host left in the house for us a bowl of figs. A lot of peace around, you only listen to the sound of nature. A very good stay and we will choose Liza's place again in the future if needed to stay in the area.

This was our third time in Santorini and our second stay at Aja Retreat — and honestly, it was just as magical as the first. The suites are stunning, peaceful, and perfectly located (especially if you have a car — everything on the island is within easy reach). The food was absolutely delicious, and Athena made everything seamless from start to finish. She’s a gem! Aja Retreat continues to be our go-to escape in Santorini. Can’t wait to come back again.

The moment we stepped onto the property, we were greeted by the soothing scents of blooming flowers and the sight of lush, wild gardens—nature at its most beautiful and unpretentious. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful—warm, respectful, and full of great recommendations. They took the time to share their knowledge of the island and genuinely enjoyed exchanging stories about life and travel. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. The veranda was just as stunning as the photos promised (if not more!), but the real star was the garden. Bursting with vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, and even fruit trees, it felt like wandering through a hidden Eden. And at night? Pure magic. The sky was a glittering canvas of stars, with shooting stars streaking across every few minutes (yes, we counted—along with a few satellites for fun!). Please have breakfast on the veranda! The hosts prepare everything fresh—local bread, jams, yogurt, and more—making it the perfect way to start the day in paradise. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life, Xerolithos is the place. We're already dreaming of our next stay—no need to browse other options, this is perfection. **Selfish tip: Go now before this hidden gem gets discovered!** **10/10, would recommend in a heartbeat!** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Set in Episkopí- Rethimno, Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach offers a garden and sun terrace. Chania Town is 34 km away. From the moment of arriving, and throughout our stay, we were so warmly welcomed by Angelika, Anastasia and her mum that it felt like we were visiting much-loved friends or family. We loved everything about this holiday: the exceptional service, friendliness and kindness of the hardworking owners, the delicious fresh-cooked food every day (both breakfast and dinner), the peaceful and serene location with immaculately kept gardens, large clean and welcoming apartment with lovely views from the terrace, superb salt-water pool. There is free parking on site, and the accommodation is less than 1 hour drive from Chania airport. We were sad to leave, and recommend this place highly for both the restaurant and the accommodation. It is the epitome of warm Cretan hospitality, away from the tourist crowds.
