Every detail of this hotel hit the mark, from the cozy, beautifully designed rooms that instantly felt like home to the delicious breakfast that truly delighted. The service was exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Location-wise, it’s ideal—tucked away in a tranquil, nature-filled setting yet close enough for easy access to the beach. The amenities were just perfect, especially the pool area, which quickly became our go-to spot for relaxation and unwinding. And let’s talk about the atmosphere—quiet, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery, providing the perfect escape. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box, but Shanty Surf Camp Hotel did exactly that and more. If you’re looking for a destination that offers peace, beauty, and everything you could possibly want in a getaway, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Amazing homely little hostel with super relaxed vibes. It has been so well equipped with every little detail- free tea, coffee, milk and seasoning for cooking, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, and every bed has a lamp, fan and plug. There’s even a workout area and a place to watch movies. It’s gorgeous and quaint and had so much space to relax. It’s really clean too and has recycling which is a rare bonus. Cesar, the volunteer, was an absolute superstar. I can’t recommend enough of you’re looking for a chilled vibe!

Gorgeous villas tucked away in a quiet part of town but still in central location. Very comfortable beds with fans in smaller rooms and aircon in deluxe suite. Clean and well maintained. Staff were fantastic and great with communication and helping out with any issues or questions I had. Would highly recommend this place.
