I stayed here for just over two weeks, and if not for other commitments, I would have happily extended my stay to a month or more. I absolutely loved my cozy little cottage and the private garden, which added a special charm to my experience. Hope to visit Pemuteran again, and when I do, this will definitely be my first choice for accommodation. A few restaurant recommendations nearby: • Pemuteran Coffee & breads serves amazing coffee and has a lovely atmosphere. • Warung De Lekong is a small, clean, and authentic local eatery with delicious food, and they even deliver to the lodge.

We chose the Sacred Beji to enjoy its calm jungle surroundings and it did not disappoint. The setting was very private and we enjoyed the use of the pool (shared by two villas) almost exclusively for ourselves. The staff at Sacret Beji was ready to help us with anything - Ami in particular made the extra effort and assisted us with various requests including booking us an amazing massage at the premises. The Jackfruit Restaurant, which is part of the larger complex, had a large variety of food, and everything we tried there was delicious. We explored the surrounding areas by scooters but anyone can easily hire cheap taxis to get around - Ubud is about 30 minutes south and Mt Batur is about 45 minutes north :)

The jungle around is spectacular, with many geckos, fireflies, and cicadas that we could hear and observe. Dewi and her team were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. They were preparing for us delicious, homemade food each day and helped to organize jungle trekking with guide and local transportation. We also met many wonderful people during our stay. It felt as if all the guests were not strangers to one another, but good neighbors and companions. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. A huge recommendation for all nature lovers!

Staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and whole place around the homestay is calm. The place offers breakfast and also has options for lunch and dinner. There are only 4 rooms (2 with balcony and 2 on the ground) so if you want a balcony view i suggest you write to homestay before about it.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. -great location in the middle of rice and chili fields - communication was easy with the very friendly staff (via WhatsApp) -you can book activities with help of the hotel or just consult them for transport (we did the rice field walk, which was nice and interesting) - clean pool area with sun beds and towels provided - very nice decorated rooms, with Mosquito nets - breakfast was nice as well (you have to order the day before a la carte) - restaurants serves also good food for dinner and drinks -complementary water in the rooms
