There’s a private stream you can bathe in, and plenty of nearby trails to explore. The scenery is breathtaking and the area feels truly authentic.

In the morning, they put flowers and incense everywhere as per Hindu tradition. The beautiful scent of this makes you feel good. We even planted pineapples when we left.

The lodge offers a spa centre. Babakan is spectacular! Everything from the view, the kindness of the hosts, to the exceptional level of cleanliness at the villa. This was my favorite place that I stayed during my three weeks traveling through Bali. The hosts work tirelessly from before sunrise to well after sundown to make the stay at this villa extraordinary. The daily cleaning of the villa and patio area was immaculate. The shower had the perfect hot water, the bedding was crisp and clean white linens, and the view was extraordinary!

A balcony with garden views is offered in every unit. Rustic and beautiful . It is out in the middle of nowhere, might me able to walk to small village . No tourists what so ever unless in the two other huts . I was scared at first being on my own and there isn’t anything to walk to like the touristy towns …. But I lucked out and got to have an amazing cultural experience and was able to see a special ceremony . Everyone was so very welcoming and they quickly became my family . Everyone is wonderful and so very helpful ! The food is amazing and they can get you a ride if need be !
