I travelled from London and I wanted a beautiful ,peaceful and safe stay Luckily I found The Bagh Kufri. Our stay at The Bagh, Kufri was fantastic! The property offers stunning mountain views, well-maintained rooms, and top-notch hospitality. The staff was warm and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. We had an absolutely lovely time at Cedar Hill Lodge. They’ve recently renovated the property and the rooms are very comfortable with cute interiors and everything you need. The common room is cute and cozy, and they have an outdoor area where you can chill and work with great views of the mountains. There’s also an open deck where we spent time stargazing. The sunrise and moon rise from here are simply stunning. The chef Jogan whipped up some delicious meals for us, including very good continental food. The place is run by Atul and Garima, who were super helpful with recommendations around the area. Babloo took good care of us and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. Do note that the place is in Chharabra, about 25 minutes away from Shimla. For us this was an advantage since we wanted to be away from the crowds. There are some restaurants nearby serving good food. It’s just across the road from Wildflower Hall, and is also very close (walkable) to a temple and the Rashtrapati Niwas. There are nature trails. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with breathtaking views!

Everything was good, the cottages, the food and hospitality. We had a wonderful time, will recommend the Bonfire at night, it was a wonderful experience.

The staff went above and beyond, even 2 days before we reached the hotel they helped us so much (really appreciated and needed as the hotel we had left was terrible!). The room had a private balcony was really special with the most amazing mountain views , and the cafe was wonderful, we ate there every day. All of the staff who dealt with the visitors were male, but this did not create at uncomfortable environment like I’ve experienced in other hotels in India, a female solo traveller would feel safe here. The location of the hotel was ideal as away from any noise, but not in the middle of nowhere so still felt safe to walk there.

The stay was wonderful. We booked a room for a night's stay en route to kaza. The place is being run by tamang and his team and echor has done a good job in putting things into place. The head cook is very skilled and customizes food according to your tastebuds. Kiran is adept in room services. The cottages and rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The location near the helipad and 2 mins walk from the ancient monastery is amazing. There is no other place like this in a 40 km radius.
