The hygiene standards were fully met in my opinion. I had a working shower with hot water, as well as both a fan and AC. The guesthouse also offers a fantastic view over Hampi. You can watch all the people on their way to the temple and are right there whenever something exciting happens. I was also able to have my laundry done, which was very practical for me as a solo traveler. The host family and all the staff members were always very friendly and professional. I felt very well taken care of and would absolutely come back anytime. I would also like to highly recommend Jilan as an excellent tour guide. He gives you plenty of time and allows you to fully enjoy the surroundings of Hampi. If you have the capacity and the extra budget, I can absolutely recommend booking a tour with him. We loved the location with a good restaurant downstairs as well as being very close to a large supermarket. The staff were excellent and always looking after us. Plenty of autos around if you need to go anywhwere and not far from the train station. Rooms at the back upstairs were quiet and spacious with air con and fans. The hot shower was the best in India so far. Luggage storage is very helpful and if you dont want to leave your room they can deliver food from the restaurant to your room.
