One of the most beautiful and spacious rooms I have ever stayed in - thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous fabrics and finishes. Every detail was thought of including a bowl of fresh fruit and chocolates, robes and slippers. Great location with balconies overlooking the Castelvecchio. And if that weren't enough, it is managed by the wonderful, warm Naima, who is at the ready to help with whatever you might need. This is a one-of-a-kind, absolutely exceptional lodging.

Very friendly tenants, loving kids. The place is very charming, with the small lake, the wineyards around, the brand new lodge with interesting revisited country-side interior design. But do not expect a palace: it rather feels like living at the tenant's place, in a rural neighbourhood. Breakfast was authentic with home made marmelade (delicious), home made cake (delicious), different breads, croissants, a plate of cold-cut and cooked eggs. We warmly recommend.

We booked the Stefano suite and it was everything you expected from their photos. The bathroom was a highlight with modern fittings and a lovely skylight for additional ambience. The breakfast was ok but not comprehensive. You can order cooked eggs (omelette). It's always a balance in smaller lodgings how they cater for a small number of guests. This property is great if you want to explore some of the wineries in the adjacent villages but there isn't a local village you can walk to for that local meal.

Although it doesn't resemble a traditional hotel with a concierge or lobby, the lodging is quite sturdy. Nonetheless, overall, it was satisfactory and located in a fantastic area.
