The property offers a free shuttle service. Free private parking is available on site. Wonderful place. Would recommend to solo-travelers, families or groups of friends. Location is within walking distance to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. The owner Satoshi-san and all staff are extremely kind and helpful. Provided a free shuttle to the station when returning home. Excellent prices of rental gear, much lower than the ski resorts. Great gear as well. Absolutely perfect.

I had a very pleasant stay at Sakka Sanso. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Both meals were excellent—the breakfast was healthy and filling, while the dinner was delicious and satisfying. The bathroom features an onsen, providing a relaxing soak after a refreshing shower. They also provided convenient transportation to and from the station, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hakuba.

They took such good care of us, and our conversations were light-hearted, joyful, and truly memorable. A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.
