Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. I’ll write this in English such that everyone could possibly get my opinion. This place is surprisingly good, it has a great location Goryu Escal plaza within walkable distance (appr. 6mins). And Goryu is the only one resort which has the night operation hours, so take advantage of that. Plenty of food options near the lodge. I was traveling alone and I had my good dining every night, get some local foods and beers what a great combination! Speaking of combo, this place has two Onsen (Hot tub) one private with little of extra charge and one public. It’s just a wonderful thing to do after days and days of skiing or snowboarding. For those who didn’t drive you should be fine as said this place has great location so you will be able to get back in multiple ways. Akira, the owner of this lodge and a skater from Tokyo, was being super helpful and informative to every of his guests, his crew members were very friendly it’s just a home place to stay at. They pick you up and drop you off at the nearest bus/train stop. They provide traffic information, map handouts, and discount tickets. Thanks to this place gave me the most impressive experience during my first visit in Japan. Arigato！

Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area is 8.9 km from the lodge, while Nagano Station is 42 km away. Matsumoto Airport is 66 km from the property. 1. Location is near Echoland and my room has a very nice view of the mountain area in the morning. It was so nice to wake up with that view. 2. Clean and well-organized place. The common area is so neat and relaxing, you would want to stay in the place for longer. My room was so clean, complete with hot water and a heater. It was so comfortable I was able to rest well (more than 12 hrs of sleep 😲) after a day of a long hike. 3. More than the above, I was really happy with the hospitality of the host. Despite challenges in language, she tried her best to help me find the best time and way to get to the mountain resort. Knowing it's my first time in Hakuba she guided me to places around the area. She even extended help to get me to the bus terminal. I love the place and will come back here.😃😃😃

Such a beautiful property and rooms, staff were lovely, the owner even picked us up from the train stop and dropped us off to our next hotel! Super close to the ski lift as well. Everything perfect!

The lodge offers a terrace. Private onsen was so nice after skiing! The breakfasts were great and the guidance for restaurants and ski resorts was very helpful. Taka and his wife have created a warm and welcoming environment, I can’t recommend this enough!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Great hosts who are very helpful in transportation on a daily basis. Getting to the ski slopes, ski rental, groceries, restaurants or even shopping was so easy as they are always available to drop and pick up. We did not have to wait anywhere. The cottage is squeaky clean and we'll furnished and very comfortable with floor, heating, hot water etc. Beautiful place, 3 mins drive from the slopes and toshi san and his wife are always available to pick you up or drop you off on time. Very knowledgeable and helpful with trains, ski rentals etc. Oh, and amazing value for money. Cottage was spacious for our family of four and the amenities are great. Hope we get this place again next season. The onsite onsen is also great.

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. It was a very nice experience to stay here, breakfast was delicious every day, it is very close to the ski resort and the staff is amazing they were very friendly and helpful, especially Hiro and Erick, thank you guys for a lovely stay!

With garden views, Kodama Lodge is located in Otari and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and sun terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge.

It has fully equipped kitchen, washing machine with automatic drying cycle, two air-conditioners, Western and Japanese bathroom, screens on windows to protect from insects etc. The manager responded to questions even during the evening.
