The lodge is modern, super comfy, and Akira along with the whole team were fantastic. Even though we visited at the end of the season and were the only guests, they made sure we had everything we needed. Every morning, they prepared breakfast just for us, and we absolutely looooved every dish. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Mr Chen was a great host, communicated with us before arrival to make sure we could get to the lodge from the bus station. He cooked us a great breakfast every morning of our stay and went above and beyond for our group. Highly recommend!

The lodge offers a terrace. Private onsen was so nice after skiing! The breakfasts were great and the guidance for restaurants and ski resorts was very helpful. Taka and his wife have created a warm and welcoming environment, I can’t recommend this enough!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Wow wow WOW. We didn't want to leave. This place was amazing. The two onsens are super plush. The owners are amazing people and we would highly recommend eating breakfast and/or dinner with them.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Great hosts who are very helpful in transportation on a daily basis. Getting to the ski slopes, ski rental, groceries, restaurants or even shopping was so easy as they are always available to drop and pick up. We did not have to wait anywhere. The cottage is squeaky clean and we'll furnished and very comfortable with floor, heating, hot water etc. Beautiful place, 3 mins drive from the slopes and toshi san and his wife are always available to pick you up or drop you off on time. Very knowledgeable and helpful with trains, ski rentals etc. Oh, and amazing value for money. Cottage was spacious for our family of four and the amenities are great. Hope we get this place again next season. The onsite onsen is also great.

It has fully equipped kitchen, washing machine with automatic drying cycle, two air-conditioners, Western and Japanese bathroom, screens on windows to protect from insects etc. The manager responded to questions even during the evening.

Snowhere ski lodge offers a terrace. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Snowhere Ski Lodge! Dan and his wonderful family went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our trip. The lodge itself is spotless, spacious, in a great location, and very reasonably priced. During our stay, my partner had a skiing accident, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. The incredible team at Snowhere Ski Lodge immediately helped us get to the hospital, assisted with translations, and even checked in on us days later to make sure everything was okay. Their kindness and support made such a difference! Looking back on our Japan trip, our time at Snowhere Ski Lodge was by far the highlight. It’s the perfect place for anyone visiting Hakuba for skiing—you’ll meet fellow snow lovers, share great conversations, and truly make the most of your experience. Breakfast was prepared by Dan each morning and it was great! 10/10 for the whole experience.

Very close to Goryu and they also offer shuttles to other resorts. Room and property were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the dining room and talking with the staff and guests.
