Akira san the owner himself greeted me upon my arrival. He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

Helpful and friendly host that took good care of us and recommended ski resorts/restaurants. There are two private onsen in the property to have a proper bath after a full day of snowboarding/skiing. And the breakfast was amazing as well

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. The pension has a lovely onsen built into the main building we truly love soaking in at the end of an active day on the slopes. It's the perfect way to close the day. The couple who run the Pension are such nice, helpful people. Especially when it comes to organising/interfacing with travel for day trips or even grocery shopping. 100% recommend

Cottage was warm and cozy; had heated floors, which was so comfortable and relaxing after a long day skiing. The place was very clean and spacious for our family of 4. We especially were surprised that our particular unit had 2 toilets and 2 showers!

The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

Great lodge with comfortable beds, newly renovated common room and excellent facilities. The provided shuttle services to get to the slopes in the morning and into the city in the evening was perfect and totally unexpected. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Delicious restaurants in walkable distance (5-30min) and very quiet suburb compared to Hakuba.
