Akira san the owner himself greeted me upon my arrival. He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

Such a beautiful property and rooms, staff were lovely, the owner even picked us up from the train stop and dropped us off to our next hotel! Super close to the ski lift as well. Everything perfect!

And the breakfast was amazing as well

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. The pension has a lovely onsen built into the main building we truly love soaking in at the end of an active day on the slopes. It's the perfect way to close the day. The couple who run the Pension are such nice, helpful people. Especially when it comes to organising/interfacing with travel for day trips or even grocery shopping. 100% recommend

Every day my friend and I will have a hot bath and this help us to recover from tiring! I also like the massage chair and the Nintendo in the game room! After ski/ snowboarding you can have fun there! Dan is THE BEST host! He prepares breakfast for everyone and shuttle us to ski resort every day, and he is intereating and cool.

Great lodge with comfortable beds, newly renovated common room and excellent facilities. The provided shuttle services to get to the slopes in the morning and into the city in the evening was perfect and totally unexpected. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Delicious restaurants in walkable distance (5-30min) and very quiet suburb compared to Hakuba.
