This is my favourite place to stay. You will need a car and if you do, it is so worth it. The lodge is located in a beautiful area. It is quiet, comfortable and cosy. At night you can hear the owls and see the stars. The breakfast is clean, healthy and delicious. This is better than any five star hotel. There is even a private bath to soak in. The owner takes great pride in the place and prepares his meals with care and attention. I am so glad we stayed here for 4 nights. If we come to Aso again, I will not stay anywhere else.

The location was really good. The owner gave me a lot of advisement. I like the wooden house, dinner (Denraku) and sightseeing spots around there. One day’s staying was very short. I will go back someday.

Lovely place with lots of passion put in. The well-furnished wooden house is very cozy - ideal for taking a break on the mountainous area. The private bath is incredible. The host is very welcoming and helped us plan our visits.
