Wish we could've stayed more cause we didn't expect it to be so beautiful. Check-in was super easy and I loved the hand written notes with my name on it. Made it very welcoming. Definitely would recommend.

This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

It was great staying here. A little kitchen with everything you need. Nice morning sun on the terrace, and great beds. We had a great time on the island and we got great recommendations from the hotel. Thanks!

Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇 là chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn và sân hiên, tọa lạc ở Aso, cách Sân vận động Egao Kenko Kumamoto 35 km, Công viên Suizenji 45 km và Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei 46 km. The cottage was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The kitchen was well appointed and if there was something we needed that wasn’t supplied we just had to ask Mayumi the owner.

Ideally located, 3 minute walk to bus station. Owner was very helpful and ordered breakfast and lunch packs for our Cedar trail hike to Jomon. The food packs were delivered to our door steps by 4:30 am to be ready for our all day hike.

The small house had everything we needed. A kitchen, large dining area, big bathing room. The was a terrance and the balcony with the view on the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were amazing. Really recommend although you need to rent a car to get there basically but I thing it's a standard if you want to see the island in general ;)

Stardust Village Hossyo features a hot spring bath, as well as accommodation with a kitchen in Kokonoe. Room was huge with both japanese and western style beds

The room was big and clean and it had two windows with view on the forest. We also had access to the private bath (in another building) that was beautiful and relaxing. Last but not least, the owners were so thoughtful and nice! They took time showing us the moon in the Observatory and during breakfast they gave us a lot of good recommendations for the rest of our trip. I am highly recommending!

Cách Núi Aso 41 km, Kurokawa Mori no Cottage có khu vườn, sân hiên, điều hòa, ban công và Wi-Fi miễn phí. This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!

Very nice traditional japanese style house on a quiet street. Well maintained and exceptionally clean. Owner was very helpful in making our stay comforting. He's also very experienced with the area so if you have any questions regarding the long hikes and nearby attractions, he's the perfect person to ask and seems happy to help
