Great location to the Ski resorts, service was excellent, delicious food, and fabulous room. The host Rhys was very accommodating and he made sure our stay at the Lodge was the best highlight of our Japan trip!

The house is a classic ski lodge, and amazing that this option still exists when so come of Hirafu has come to be dominated by giant, sterile hotels. Hope Sato and Lodge Cowbell are there for years to come!

Guests can choose to stay in the Ramat or Snowgum Lodge. Both lodges are non-smoking and offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Stayed here for 5 days of skiing, and the experience was incredible. Tyler, Toni, Aiden and the whole staff made it feel more like I was staying at a friend’s ski cabin than a hostel; they are very cool, kind and knowledgeable about all things Niseko. The morning shuttle to the Kings Gondola of Grand Hirafu and early breakfast provided was very helpful to catch first tracks everyday. As a solo traveler, I also appreciated the common area, communal dining area and pool table which made it really easy to make friends with other guests which was nice for skiing and apres in Niseko village. Hostels are inherently different from the comforts of a private hotel room but Ramat Niseko has built a really amazing culture and has a charming & functional design to the building itself for skiing that makes it one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, I hope I can come back again next year.

Great location, just 10 minute walk to Grand Hirafu central bit of shops and restaurants. David and Elle are great hosts, always so kind and helpful, they made us fantastic breakfast every morning and drove shuttle up to the mountain. Walk back from ski field to accommodation was just around 10 minutes. Accommodation was always clean and warm, perfect place for ski holidays!

A continental breakfast is available every morning at the lodge. Hosts were exceptional and went out of their way to help. Rooms were larger than expected with lots of windows, and the boot room was top notch. Breakfast was great too despite being advertised as “light”

Comfortable, sturdy bunks with privacy partitions. Rooms were not stuffy. Great people with a mountain mindset. Quiet at night- early to bed and early to rise. Awesome hearty breakfast. Wonderful staff.
