The lodge is only a few minutes drive from Tazawako Ski Resort. The meals were wonderful. The traditional tatami style room was extremely comfortable & the Onsen was simply perfect.

Always very helpful. The food was great: excellent variety and delicious 😋 Rooms with air conditioning and beds were very comfortable 😌 Would recommend staying here. Shuttle bus to Appi Kogen ski resort was great (only around 800 metres). Some choose to walk to warm up. After midday, there were free shuttle buses returning from the resort every 30 minutes that stopped at House Appi diagonally across the road.

We really liked the environment/vibe of this place. The staff were also great and super helpful. The location is very close to the Jupeer and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The rooms were super spacious and comfortable.
