Everything was perfect. Nice and clean tent with comfortable beds and good lighting. Delicious and fresh food. Very friendly staff. Game drive was excellent. We hope to come back some time in the future.

So special place in nice location on the Talek river, many animals around , hippos and crocodiles monkeys and more. The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities you will need. The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.

Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

Remarkable three days at Kobe Mara. Even though we arrived by car late at night and during a storm, we were warmly welcomed with dinner and blankets. The tent was clean and comfortable, and camp location was excellent. With only 4 tents and 1 large house spaced out from each other, no fences and no other camps around, it is so peaceful (apart from the animals of course!) and a perfect escape from city life. We recommend booking game drives via the camp too - our guide Nickson was incredible and we saw all the animals we had hoped to find. Kobe Mara staff did a fantastic job and everyone was so friendly and kind. As a bonus, we were treated to a group dinner as all guests were departing on the same day, featuring a Maasai celebration. A special thanks to our waiter Jonathan and the manager Sammy for everything :)

From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by Valery and her amazing team. We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. Special thanks to Newton, whose attentive and friendly approach truly elevated our experience—his hospitality left a lasting impression! The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal perfectly prepared and presented. From hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners under the stars, the culinary experience rivaled the best we’ve had anywhere. The camp’s environment added a thrilling layer to our adventure. With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.
