Best place we’ve stayed in all of our travels around Asia!! We were welcomed with open arms and felt like part of the family! TuTu and his mum were so kind and generous as well as giving us great recommendations for things to do while we visited Galle. Location was perfect, out of the busy town but close enough to bike ride or get a local tuk tuk into either Galle or Unawatuna! The room was huge and the bed was so comfy! We chose the Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and filling! We didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Hiresha and Sudeera made our stay at the property a delight, looking after our every need. Transportation, food, recommendations, everything. The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Place is pretty amazing, just 2 minutes to the beach & to any restaurant. Staff is very helpful with all the information I wanted. His knowledge of the area is an added value to the property. In room coffee is provided, I was able to cook my fresh food in the house kitchen.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. lovely place nice staff and amazing location on the beach, special environment within a mangrovy type environment and nice simple dinner that was very tasty.

Located 400 metres from Unawatuna Beach, Unawatuna Backpacker Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. Very relaxing room, close to everything but still away from the shops and restaurants noise. I highly recommend! The host was also very caring and made very nice breakfast.
