Ranakeliya Lodge Yala was simply the perfect choice! The lodge is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting, close to Yala National Park, making it a fantastic starting point for a safari. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a really cozy atmosphere. We spent one night here. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The food was also fantastic and plentiful. I can only recommend this place!

The place is really well located close to the gate of the Yala sanctuary. It was very clean and comfortable. The management communicated with us very well before the beginning of our stay. On site staff were very proffessional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bbq was amazing. You wake up to the song of million birds and perhaps get to see some peafowl near the pool. The place has such a relaxing atmosphere that we would go back in a hearbeat.

The New Years breakfast was great, rooms has a super pleasant atmosphere. The owner was so lovely and very supportive. There is a wonderful view over the garden and vegetables. This is definitely a very comfortable place to stay.

The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

A great spot for our family of 4. Walking distance to two beautiful but different beaches. Silent beach was our favourite in all is Sri Lanka. The property was set back in nature and we loved the mornings listening to the sounds and seeing the different animals. Also, a short tuk tuk ride to the surf beach in Hiri. The host was super helpful easy to communicate with. He also gave us a lot of space (which isn’t always the case in Sri Lanka). If we ever visit Sri Lanka again we will be back!

The owner was very friendly and prepared the best food I had in Sri Lanka.
