We absolutely loved our 3 nights at Kandalama Lodge. The staff are amazing and spoilt us especially Madushan i.e. Crazy ... Who over delivered in all aspects. Rooms are lovely and better than in photos. Outdoor bathroom fabulous. We ate in each night as the quality and presentation of our meals was exceptional. Pool area so clean and inviting. We really didn't want to leave as we felt so loved especially a birthday cake magically appeared

The rooms were very comfortable and bright. The staff were absolutely exceptional - they were so attentive and polite. It was my boyfriend’s birthday during our stay and they surprised us with a cake! They grow a lot of their own food that they use in their restaurant so it’s all fresh produce. Excellent all round

The view from the property was really good, we could see the Lion rock right from the property. A lovely homemade breakfast was served. One of the best stays during my Sri Lankan vacation.

The room is spacious, very clean, with a nice hot shower and the bed was big and comfortable! For this price, the quality is very good! The family is also very friendly. Location is a 5 minute drive from the centre, which was no problem for us because we had our own tuktuk. It is a quiet and calm location, and you can see hornbills and other animals in the garden! The breakfast was traditional and good, but maybe they can ask guests what they would like more/less and adjust a little.

We had an amazing stay in Srigriya! Everything was perfect—cozy and felt just like home. The breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Anil and his family were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The warm atmosphere and their genuine care made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. The place was special, out in nature, eco friendly. The staff was exceptional, helpful with every request, friendly, considerate. The food delicious.
