Speaking of Angelo, he's an incredibly kind and helpful soul who embodies the spirit of a perfect host. He makes you feel welcome and at ease with his charming demeanor. His willingness to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable is truly commendable. If I could, I would book with Angelo exclusively for all my future stays. In short, this lodge is a hidden gem, and I feel fortunate to have experienced it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful (especially if you like birds!), the room is comfortable, the balcony is really enjoyable. But most of all: the owner is a wonderful person, who will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you have a great stay. We hiked from there to Ella's Rock, following the train rail at first and it was really amazing. Thank you so much for this stay!!!

The property is around 1.1 km from Ella Spice Garden and 2.9 km from Ella Rock. The hotel offers mountain views and a terrace. Yoga classes are available at an additional charge. The views from our balcony were stunning, the sunrise and mountains are breathtaking. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they even prepared an early breakfast for us as we had to check out earlier than usual (my daughter loved the sandwiches they have prepared). Am not sure how does the other rooms look like but try to book the room where the bed is up stairs and has a balcony and a jacuzzi.

Spectacular views, kind and attentive hosts and the best Sri Lankan breakfast we’ve had so far (and we’ve had some amazing breakfasts). Spice Lodge is near Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge and that was the main reason we chose it at first but would love to come back. The fireflies at night were magical!

Located in Ohiya, surrounded by mountains in the Horton Plains Range, Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa mainly serves Sri Lankan cuisine. It features a shared lounge area surrounded by tea estates/mountains. The property boasts an excellent location for hiking and trekking. The location is the best of the worse for those who are doing the Pekoe trail. Stage 11-12. It offers a breathe-taking view of the valley below. The owners gave us such great hospitality. The room was clean it gave us a much needed respite from a long day of hiking. If you are taking the pekoe trail, there is a shortcut to the location which is slightly off track. It’s short but intense but could save you 30mins to an hour. I suggest that you take it. Dinner and breakfast was sooooo good. Really nice after a long day of hiking
