The staff, ***especially Anne (owner) and Amal, were exceptional,they arranged a safari to Yala Block 6 (just 10 mins away!) where we spotted elephants and leopards. The **food was a highlight**: authentic Sri Lankan curries and Western options, all served in an open-air dining area. Don’t miss the **sunset boat ride on the lake**—pure magic! Clean, spacious rooms and a serene pool sealed our perfect stay. We’ll be back!"

Appu and his family couldn't do enough for us and Navin ,the owner organised a wonderful guide for our safari. The premises was spotless with big, airy rooms and the meals were delicious.

We also left an item behind when checking out and only realised a few days later - the staff organised a safe return of item to us! The hotel and grounds are very well maintained + the pool was great . Will definitely recommend to friends and will stay here again when we come back.

It's the biggest room we've stayed in the whole Sri Lanka trip. The staff were very friendly. They helped us to prepare the other morning's breakfast package for the Safari tour. We left for the Safari at 5:30a, our breakfast had been there ready. It's at the end of a small village road, and there's a pond in front of the hotel. It's quiet.
