Rain Forest Inn is located in Bertam Valley amidst the lush rainforest and cascading waterfalls. It offers locally handcrafted rooms from which views of the surrounding nature can be enjoyed. The breakfast was so delicious, the first morning we were given so many treats and Gee explained each one to us! There was so much that we took the rest in a doggy bag to eat during rhe day. The next morning the brought us rotti canai which we demolished. The native dinner was incredible, very delicious and we enjoyed watching them cook it and learning so much about their culture. We were also shown traditional hunting methods which was a nice surprise and very enjoyable! There is a local village nearby and the children from there come to swim and play in the river. We had a lovely time playing with them and we were lucky enough to be invited back to their village to play. As an Australian tourist, this was a special experience and will stay with us forever! The place is a bit further than other accommodation but the staff at Rainforest inn offer pick up and dropped off every day making it so convenient

Dian was a great host, very responsive and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Muadzam Shah.

Very unique property in the rainforest! Stayed 3 nights. Accommodation for our group of 5 adults in a lodge building was perfect. The food they provided was tasty & very plentiful. Staff was very pleasant & it was an enjoyable stay. We did the night tour, kayaking, waterfall hike & river boat. All were enjoyable. Very relaxing place, a bit out of the way but worth it.

Locations is easier to go out but you will need to drive. Surround activities is well connected, you can just book when you check in. The BBq set there are good too, we order for 2 pax for the night with the nature activities. The old airplan stop there is special just too many of mosquito, i think they still working on the renovation to become new room in future.

Housed in a charming English cottage, The Bala's Holiday Chalet is located on a private hill away from bustling city life. It offers a restaurant and homely rooms with free Wi-Fi. The management managed to maintain it so well. Hotel was lovely and beautiful. Felt like we were in a cottage in England. Garden was well maintained. Restaurants were nice as well.
