The tents are super comfortable with bathrooms attached and a view through the reeds to the small river. the grounds are beautifully cared for but the best thing about this lodge is the food! Oh my god best food not just in Africa but in many places outside of Africa too! The German (?) gorgeous lady who either owns the lodge it runs it is so beautiful! she assured us it would be the best bread in a Africa and she was right! But the bread was just the start the pumpkin papaya soup was creamy, silky smooth and just delicious. this was followed by a kudu roulade (like venison) which was accompanied by the most yummy jus and mashed potato and well as small hollowed squash stuffed with some sort of cheesy, pumpkin concoction! seriously this food was so so good! This is as followed by a fluffy chocolate mousse with candied walnuts and a shortbread crumb. you would think you were in a city restaurant not in the middle of a game park with nothing around you! We slept like babies in our warm and cosy 4 post tented bedroom and awoke to the birds before yet more delicious food before we waved goodbye! I would tell anyone to make sure to stay here between Chobe and Divundu to enjoy the Mudumu Game Park and the wonderful hospitality of Camp Kwando!

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. This property is exceptional value, the rooms are large and clean with awesome views. They also include a A/C unit, as well as a fan, and power sockets. We were particularly fond of the pool as it too, had great views and was quite private. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, wanting to help where ever possible. Being so close to the river meant the wildlife was also close, especially the elephants at night. The full-day boat safari was very good value and beautiful; we saw an abundance of animals in and out of the water, and the lunch was very good. The area surrounding the camp is very clean, we were particularly impressed by how unpolluted the river was. The food was great and fresh with a couple of options per night. The laundry service was quick and efficient.

Our stay at Divava Lodge on the Kavango River for New Year's Eve was absolutely unforgettable! The stunning fireworks display over the river was a spectacular way to ring in the new year. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options to start the day. Dinner was a true highlight, with a fantastic selection of mouthwatering dishes that showcased the best local flavors. The serene setting and top-notch service made this an incredible experience that I won't soon forget. Highly recommended!

The Ndhovu Safari Lodge serves breakfast and dinner which can be taken in the restaurant. Packed lunches are available on request. The lodge also has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, and laundry facilities. Everything was perfect, the location, the staff, the food (they made vegan just for me and with very good quality), the room was incredible, and the game drive and the boat cruise were both great.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. A splurge luxury accommodation option. The rooms are awesome overlooking the Zambezi River - spacious with luxury finishes. The dining and bar areas are lovely with good meals. Loved the sunset cruise and the bee-eater colonies. On the expensive side but value for it.

Definitely the best place to stay on our trip. All staff are very friendly. It was nice and intersting to talk with them. The location directly at the river is great. There are a lot of sitting areas directly at the river. We had been in contact with Brenda already long time before our arrival.
