Located amongst the rocky hills of Gondwana Nature Park, Gondwana Canyon Village offers accommodation within 55 km of Klein Karas. This place exceeded expectations. A lot of activities were offered including a night safari and a sunset hike which had a hidden bar built on the rocks.. SO COOL

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a terrace overlooking the Gurib River bed. I loved Alte Kalkoefen! The sleeping lodges were beautiful and overlooked the savannah with constant wildlife moving through. The food was also great, I would absolutely recommend signing up for dinner and breakfast while staying here, relaxing at this lodge was a highlight of my trip!

Offering an outdoor pool, en suite rooms and an outside terrace, the historical Seeheim Hotel is located in Seeheim, a 30-minute drive from Keetmanshoop. Very interesting historical place (old railway station converted to hotel). Nice location- not too far from quiver tree forest. Good for sleepover before continuing to Luderitz or Fish river canyon. There is a fireplace in the dining area, so it was nice and warm. Very nice dinner and breakfest.
