The stunning location of individual chalets amongst the rocks in the desert, the friendly, attentive staff, the excellent buffet dinner, the pool on the edge of the desert with enough loungers for everyone, the bean bags under a large rock above the pool, the sunsets over the desert. What an amazing place!

With far-reaching views over Fish River Canyon just below, the private chalets at this property have rooftop windows. Each has an outdoor shower, and an outdoor pool is available. Fantastic views and the food was amazing. The trip into the gorge was a long, bumpy one but a must do! Once down there is a natural pool where you can swim and the guide made a delicious lunch!

Surrounded by natural African gardens, this eco-friendly lodge offers bright rooms with a balcony overlooking the Gurib River bed. Beautiful surrounding, small stoep T the room with view over the veld and waterhole (springbok and ostrich). Lovely restaurant, nice food. We only stayed one night but would like to come back for a few more nights. Pool looked beautiful. The rooms were lovely decorated with wonderful inventive details. The display of all the Lithops of Namibia is definitely worth to visit!

We enjoyed the flexibility on activities offered and loved the canoeing on the Orange River.

Offering an outdoor pool, en suite rooms and an outside terrace, the historical Seeheim Hotel is located in Seeheim, a 30-minute drive from Keetmanshoop. Very interesting historical place (old railway station converted to hotel). Nice location- not too far from quiver tree forest. Good for sleepover before continuing to Luderitz or Fish river canyon. There is a fireplace in the dining area, so it was nice and warm. Very nice dinner and breakfest.
