The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It was absolutely magical. The whole location is stunning very glamorous. The only downside was the smoke at 5:30 am. My husband did not understand that they had to light the fires and he thought we were in distress.

Each bungalow at the Huab Lodge features a private veranda overlooking the area and hills. They all have a private bathroom with twin basins and views from the shower. All of them have thatched roofs and typical African decoration. Great remote location! The owner offers a lot of excursions to explore the area.

Petrified Forest Khorixas is 30 km from the lodge. Lovely place to stay in Damaraland! The tents are clean and spacious with attached toilet and shower, hot water and electricity. The food was excellent, dinner was 250 each and more food than we could eat. Breakfast was great, and they gave us a packed lunch (I think lunch was 200) for our long drive. The staff was incredible, so attentive and helpful, some of the best we’ve had in months of traveling. The camp is away from all lights so it was some of the best star gazing ever. The ownership is brand new (and Namibian) as of September 2025 so take this into account when looking at older reviews online.
