Meals are available for a surcharge at a neighboring lodge, 5 km from Desert Quiver Camp. Our accommodation was stunning! We loved all the rock formations nearby. It's close to Gate 1 I'm Sossusvlei. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, with a good view for sunset. We saw some cute jackals!

This place achieves perfection on every level, and it's the epitomy of what one would dream of, when thinking of an African safari lodge. The entire setup is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. The outside seating area on the large wooden terrace, right at the edge of the waterhole, with trees providing shade, was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The pool was perfect too, as was the chalet, and the food was absolutely top-notch. Last but not least, everybody was really friendly and smiling, we felt most welcome. Overall, it's great value for money. Our only regret is that we had to leave.

Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park.

The Camp's dining area is nicely located on a hill. Meals have to be booked at least 24 hours in advance. They will be served at either Namib Naukluft Lodge or Soft Adventure Camp. Everything. The staff were lovely, friendly and fun. The food was so good, well presented. Two evenings we had bbq in a lovely outdoor space and the other evening a special dinner on the patio overlooking the Plains. Went on two trips, an excursion to soussusvlei and a sundowner trip to watch the sunset from a great viewpoint. Even had time to spend an afternoon by the pool. A great, relaxing few days in the middle of our holiday.

Each of the units at Agama Lodge has a deck area with views of the Naukluft Mountains. They also include a writing area, and a private bathroom with a shower. Great place - The room was comfortable and well-designed. Great view from the bed. The outdoor views so beautiful. We spent an hour by the pool, and the entire setting to view the sunset and sunrise were just great. Dinner was nice - nice choice and every dish was tasty and prepared with care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Situated on the banks of the Tsauchab River, Hoodia Desert Lodge offers accommodation close to the Sesriem Gate. The lodge offers an outdoor pool.

The air-conditioned luxury rooms at the lodge have twin beds, coffee-and-tea-making facilities, an open air shower and bath. Guests can enjoy views from their private deck. Very nice and quiet lodge in the middle of the desert, yet not that far away from the main road and Sossusvlei/Deadvlei that it was a pain to get there. The lodge has a lovely staff that took care of us in an excellent way. Also the day tour they provide is very much worth it. They provide spacious, clean lodges with warm showers. Also the food was great.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. There was nothing not to like starting from heart-warming reception, and throughout our stay during which we were the only couple in the property, who were kindly assisted by some 20 staff members. This was just our luck to visit the place on weekdays and during lower season, thus we had an absolute privacy. Only us and nature! The chalets, restaurant, viewing terraces, and the pools areas were spotlessly clean, well designed, and professionally served. Great experience!

Towering over the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, this 4-star lodge offers an outdoor pool and a dining terrace overlooking a floodlit waterhole. Its bar serves cocktails and South Africa’s finest wine. Free WiFi access is available at reception. Actually we were re-booked to another hotel Le Mirage. All our feedback is based on the experience at Le Mirage. It happned that Sossusvlei Lodge had technical issues (water supply) and we were re-booked to another hotel. It was organized very smoothly. By the way, we had dinne at Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant and the food was great! Buffet in open terrace. We tasted different kind of grilled meat (Eland, Kudu, beef, oryx).
