This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

Offering rooms with a private patio, lake and mountain views and an additional room with a private patio and partial mountain views, Tekapo Heights is just 1 km from Lake Tekapo, a short stroll to the... Room was very spacious and was incredibly comfortable. Huge comfy bed, huge TV, well stocked room with a kettle and tea, mini fridge, hairdryer. The view apparently was nice but the weather didn't let us enjoy it - first it was too foggy, later we had snow and couldn't even see the mountains at that point haha but the room was so cozy it wasn't an issue.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. I loved the location across from the lake. It quiet with unobstructed views. Our host gave us tips on where to go. We appreciated that. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. There was nothing lacking.
