A garden is featured. Fantastic location, the room was very clean, had the best nights sleep of our holiday here, and the shower was AMAZING. My daughter left her beloved LambLamb behind, and as soon as we noticed, LambLamb was on the courier the very next day. 5 stars isn't high enough for this place. We will definitely be back.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. We were there for ski trip. I loved Sandy's service by giving us all the info about the mountain and how to be prepared with passes and mapping it out for us to make sure we get the best experience which I appreciated soo much! The place itself was soo clean and felt like home. Beautiful lounge area and clean kitchen and nice open outdoor area to enjoy food with the best view in the area! Highly recommend and I'll definitely be staying here on my next trip :)

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. LOVED the outdoor bathtub, and the room was very comfortable with a king bed and fridge/bar area. Great outdoor living room with couch and small table. Good restaurant within walking distance, Would love to stay for much longer!

Ski storage space is available on site and skiing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. Comfortable, well-stocked, clean, felt new. Proximity to groceries and to the couple restaurants that were open (we came in the off-season). And Mary was amazing!

The Lodge is well situated to hike in Tongariro National Park. We also really enjoyed the fact that the kitchen was well equipped! We wouldn’t hesitate going back!
