We were there for ski trip. I loved Sandy's service by giving us all the info about the mountain and how to be prepared with passes and mapping it out for us to make sure we get the best experience which I appreciated soo much! The place itself was soo clean and felt like home. Beautiful lounge area and clean kitchen and nice open outdoor area to enjoy food with the best view in the area! Highly recommend and I'll definitely be staying here on my next trip :)

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. Really enjoyed the Garden unit. Big comfortable bed, fun to have a bath on the deck. Was a very calm night's rest. Was great to be able to park right outside the unit.

The Lancewood Lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and feels very homely. Set back from the road, it is quiet and the rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds. The friendly greeting from Rhys on arrival made this a much more personal stay than most places I've stayed with work and is very convenient near Ohakea.
