We enjoyed the pool each afternoon, following a day of exploring, and watched the moon rise each evening from the expansive deck. Breakfasts were delicious and prepared us for a day of activity. We appreciated every recommendation provided by Martin and Joelson. They definitely set the bar for the rest of our time in New Zealand. If you have the chance to stay here, we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location right on the beach with decks and outdoor furniture is great. We enjoyed several meals on the deck. The rooms were recently renovated and very nice. Brian & Rosemary were very helpful with suggestions on places to see on our outings.
