The breakfast was delicious and served on the veranda overlooking the bay. The gardens are lovely and it's an easy 10min stroll into town. The hosts Greg and Peter made us feel so welcome.

Given the heat during our travel to get to Mangonui, the stay was healing and discreetly private (we were'nt isolated) We were within close proximity to our extended whanau too which was a plus. Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

The views were sensational and the apartment was fabulous! We were extremely lucky to get fresh baked bread the first morning and the second morning we got home made crossaints. Both mornings we had fresh fruit, yoghurt and condiments. Such an awesome place to end our Honeymoon and 3.5 week trip around New Zealand.

The view was amazing. We sat in bed in the morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise above the mist. The spa pool is in a covered area, where you can look at the view. Beds were soft, just how we like them! Very quiet area. 😉

The setting was spectacular, right by the river and so peaceful. Great poached eggs at breakfast. Would definitely recommend here to stay
