The Stables stay is our budget-friendly option in our original historic Stables building. These rooms have shared bathroom facilities. The view from our room was amazing! Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfy and beautiful!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. We liked being out of town in peaceful countryside . There were enormous sliding windows opening on to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The view from the accommodation was a magnificent range of mountains.

Wonderful service, awesome view, very cosy and clean. Feels very exclusive when you wake up to snow capped mountains. Food was also very good. We were visited by cheeky Wekas and Keas!

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. This property is outstanding. Fabulous hosts and food. Awesome ocean view. Meticulously clean. Loved the outdoor space on semi-private deck. Quiet and simple elegance with wonderful amenities.

Set in Kaikoura in the Canterbury region, with Kaikoura Beach nearby, Lemon Tree Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

The lodge offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. A fridge is also offered, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. The room was airy with two separate sliding doors giving access to the garden and decks with tables and chairs for dining outdoors. The room got the morning sun. The bathroom was spacious, and two glass walls of the shower opened right up. The breakfast was laid out for the guests from 8 to 9am, and included mostly breads and sugary things and dairy, which is typical for European breakfasts. I don't eat sugar or dairy, but managed to find enough: boiled eggs, fresh fruit and cold cuts.

A stovetop and toaster are also offered, as well as a kettle. this is an absolutely beautiful place, especially in clear nights (look up!)

Lake Tekapo is 55 km from the lodge, while Glentanner is 41 km away. Highly recommend! Room was spacious and clean, ceilings were high. The property grounds were beautiful, such a relaxing environment. Staff was very warm and kind and even had us help ourselves to an early breakfast since we were leaving before the official breakfast serving time. Only stayed a night for the close proximity to Mt Cook but would’ve booked more nights to enjoy the place if we’d known how great it is.

Extras like shampoo, tea/coffee and other pantry items, Netflix etc. were a lovely touch! Great location and hosts with lots of recommendations and detailed info about our stay.
