Larnach Lodge offers individually-decorated rooms, with ensuite bathrooms and panoramic views of Otago harbour and the Otago Peninsula. The Stables stay is our budget-friendly option in our original historic Stables building. These rooms have shared bathroom facilities. If you can budget for the stay, it was well worth it! The staff were amazing, the grounds were beautiful, breakfast was delicious, rooms were comfortable with everything you need and more! It was a truly wonderful experience for my whole family, and we would recommend this to anyone traveling on holiday to Dunedin.

When we arrived at Milford Sound Lodge, we were informed that the road would be closed the following day. Unfortunately we could not stay but the staff member, Gillian, immediately confirmed we could cancel without any penalties. The money was refunded promptly. We were disappointed we couldn’t stay as the lodges looked fab but with the amazing customer service we received, I have no doubt it would have been a wonderful stay.

With mountain views, Benger Garden Chalets is located in Millers Flat and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. A beautiful interpretation of an accessible living space.

With Greymouth Railway Station reachable in 26 km, Awatuna Sunset Lodge offers accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a private beach area and a shared lounge. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. This property is outstanding. Fabulous hosts and food. Awesome ocean view. Meticulously clean. Loved the outdoor space on semi-private deck. Quiet and simple elegance with wonderful amenities.

Lake Tekapo is 55 km from the lodge, while Glentanner is 41 km away. Amazing property. I would 100% recommend this little lodge to stay while visiting Twizel. Spacious, clean and modern rooms. And Mary the host truly wonderful.
